Master of Arts and Certification Program in the Eastern Panhandle

Are you thinking about becoming a teacher?

  • Do you wish to enter the teaching profession with an advanced degree and teaching certification?  You will want to learn more about our Master’s of Arts in Elementary Education and Certification program in the Eastern Panhandle.  The Master of Arts in Elementary Education and Certification program launches in fall 2009.  It will combine interactive online learning, blended locally based classroom experiences, and carefully selected field based experiences in the local area, to provide individuals with the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to make a difference in the classroom.

Additional Opportunities in Reading and Early Childhood Education

  • Individuals also have the opportunity to pursue an additional program to earn Reading Specialist credentials and be a highly qualified reading teacher.  An additional specialization in Early Childhood Education may also be added.
